Take an 8-1/2 x 11 pad of paper, turn it sideways, stick on a head and you have Nina, a truly adoggable New Yorker. She rescued me in October 2011 at the estimated age of four years, and that moment marked the beginning of beginnings for us both.
Gypsy is 6 years old and loves her squeaky toys.
Marshmallow is a deaf Chihuahua / Italian Greyhound mix. She was abandoned in an apartment while pregnant when her former owners moved out, and I adopted her soon after in the summer of 2005. She’s my little white shadow and such a survivor - a real New Yorker!

Licensing dogs makes them legal, gains them access to city parks, makes it easier to find them if they are lost, and helps support the care and adoption of abandoned animals.
